hey guys, just built my engine tonight, installed it in the sled.... started it up and the tach will bounce around. it will gain 1000+ rpm the engine dose not rev just the tach. it idles just as it normally dose but read around 1500 rpm at idle and the tach needle will shoot to 2500 ish for no reason.
now when i brought chassis in shop today i noticed the tach needle was at 2000 rpm. i cant say for sure if it was like that all summer. or was like that when it went up in the pellet rack for storage.
at the end of last season a rod went on the trail coming home and when i herd the noise i grabbed the kill right away.
i honestly think some how over summer the needle went to 2000 rpms.. and maybe its deffective now?
will see how it work tomorrow on its first ride.
