Hey guys,
Thinking about getting into quadding a little bit this summer.
Went and test drove a 2006 Grizzly 660 Silver Tip today. Bike is in decent shape, has 4075km and 250hrs on it. Started real nice, ran smooth, shifted nice.
Quad was in 4x4 when I started it, went to take it out and wouldn't come out until I shut quad off with just key on. Then it came out of 4x4, put it back in and locked the diff in, wouldn't come back out. Rolled it ahead and back, turned wheels side to side. Is there something wrong with the diff? Is it a blown fuse? Motor didn't even sound like it was trying to move shifter forks.
Also I had checked the oil and it seemed to be overfilled and almost smelled like gas? Oil didn't look/feel like it was runny. I've read that it could be a possibility of a bad needle and seat. The fella wants $5200 for the quad. Is this a decent price? If I am going to rebuild the carb with needle and seat is it worth putting a dyno jet kit in? Does a dyno jet kit come with needle and seat?
Thanks for the help guys.
