05 f7 runs poor and dies

we have a 05 efi f7-m7-snow pro
sled starts and runs good for a few mins then goes into limp mode, tail lights head lights, dash lights(speedo,tach) all dead will not power up. no power sputters not even 1/4 throttle (just enough to move on level ground).was told possible wiring harness, has been removed and no fault as been found, pulled stator and seems to be ok at ohms test at the coils, ign pick up looks like has been rubbing on flywheel(balancer) but again test ok by ohms.

we are stumped and need some advise, any ideas at this time would be great. thanks colin

after a few hours and replacing the wire harness, we found a pinched wire at handlebar warmer left hand side.. fixed the wire and no problems yet. i guess was enough to short out and cause a limp mode and or die.
