im told i can put kodiak 450 weights, which i happen to have sitting around, in my 660 in place of a clutch kit. has anyone tried this and does it work? also, ive heard of guys drilling holes in the weights which does the same thing.
any thoughts? thanks

Well those 450 weights are going to be 14gr, and you are going to be revving like crazy if you have a smaller than 27" tire and no secondary spring to hold a low gear.

You could go 4 450 weights and 4 660 weights for a total of 16gr(including cover) and do the primary COOP shim mod,.. Or you could buy my new 16gr weights in the buy and sell :)

Post up some other specs on your bike.

thanks for the tip. i do indeed have 28's on it and the spring upgrade. i actaully ended up taking the old weights and drilling 2 5/16" holes in each one... it worked quite well actualy
