my 2003 800 rev would not start by hand with a dead battery, put booster cables on and away it went.bought new battery and starts good every time. why would it not start with dead battery?

Why was your battery dead? Maybe your sled is not charging and there wasn`t enough juice to start it by hand, just a thought.
