02 Kodiak 400 CDI box needed!!

My 13 year old nefew's kodiak has no spark and they think it is the CDI box but a new one is too expensive.($650 I think they said)They are looking for a used one or a jobber one,they are having trouble finding a jobber for that machine for some reason..Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!

**** MAKE SURE U DO ALL THE TESTS first, you can test everything but the cdi and if you buy it there is no return on electrical,,,, new or used...

what to test-
igntion coil-
spark plug cap
plug-
stator-individual coils on stator


is it an auto? i might have a used one, but make sure thats what you need
