a lot of people don't consider the price of accessories when looking a used machines, the goodies add up quick. Just something else to keep in mind when looking at used.

Heads up on the 2015 RZR 900s, they all have been detuned to 75 HP from 88 HP. Something to ask the salesperson if you're looking at a new machine. This was something I noticed on the Polaris website.

we own: 2013 rzr800s, 2012 rzr800le, 2014 rzr1000 4, 2014 rzr 1000, 2009 ac prowler 1000. If your max budget is 14k. get a low mile 800/900 that someone has already accessorised. you can't go wrong with either. We ride mostly around rocky and the 800s are just as much fun as the 1000 and you're not looking at 3-5 k to fit it up. Take advantage of everyone upgrading to the new 900. We put a sh$t ton of miles on all of our machines. We also had a 2010 800s. We clutched the 800 and put beefier tires on them. Besides relocating the fan circuit breaker, We had never had any issues besides rider error. If your wife is going to be driving get eps.

Some are at 75 hp....the narrower ones. Not all though.

Stopped by the local dealer this morning. 2015 900 with winch is 19k, 2014 800HO no winch asking 15.7

The only thing that makes me nervous about buying used is not knowing what sort of life the machine has led. As in, was it upside down in the Athabasca for an afternoon? Lots of stuff on Kijiji in various condition.

I was under the impression that you could put a 2" receiver hitch on these in place of the 1 1/4" stocker?

I think you need a different plate at the back for 2" receiver, probably sold as an accessory! That way the can get another 150 bucks from you lol

You're right, you will need a new plate for a receiver on a RZR 900. I bought mine from Thunderhawk, you can find them online. Good quality, bolts to the frame and cover plate. The receiver i picked up at Princess Auto with a clevis. (Thunderhawk Performance.)

Shop around there are deals if you look long enough especially near the end of the year when the new models are out. I got a new 900 xp for 14 k . Had to drive 3 hrs but saved 2500 more than the best deal I could find locally. It wasn't a demo either had 2 klm when I loaded on the trailer after a little ride around dealers property.

So from what I can tell, all 2015 900 models are 75hp instead of 88 now. How does Polaris sell this as an improvement over last year? Or is it just to promote the 1k?

It's 1" wider and 11" longer, I would test drive both before you shell out the cash. I was going to buy the 900 then tried the 1000 and this answered my question,no comparison, I ended up with the 1000. less upgrades needed.

think hes talking about the new 900 xc or base not the s

This is the first year you could buy a rzr 900 smaller then 64 inches wide. They through it in the 60 inch chassis ( rzr s) and the 50 inch trail chassis.
Yes for a limited run you can still get 2014 rzr 900 in all black that is 64 inches wide and 88 hp. It will be classed as 2014 not 2015.

The improvment was dumping the 800 at 54 hp and moving into the 900 at 75 hp in the two smaller chassis.

Sorry, I don't have a rear view mirror on my RZR 1000, so I can't see units behind me........especially that far behind me. Not being an azz, just kidding around.

What do you wanna know? Got one in my garage, so glad I didn't get the rzr this thing is better in pretty much everyway. I haul it on a utv riser, the one made by B&H that goes over the roof then I haul my camper.

You can expect to keep up with the 1000's for the most part, I was around even with a commander 1000 with a passenger in mine and he was by himself.... This thing is impressive
