Do I need to do the clutch??

I am new to the automatic world for ATV's. Have always had Honda until just recently I bought a Polaris trail boss and a Kawasaki Brute Force 650.

After reading some threads here, my question is on the Kawi, I put 26" tires on right at the dealership. Do I need to clutch it? I would think one size wouldn't make a difference, but want to check to make sure.

you should be allright with the 26" tires. If you were going with 27" then I'd say forsure you need to throw a clutch kit in.

Thanks, Just wanted to make sure. Spent to much money on the machine to skimp out on a few dollors for a clutch kit.

Are the clutches in these the same as a snowmobile clutch? Springs and weights basically??

dont bother with it. I got 27" tires on my 750 and no clutch work. These quads are fine stock up to 27" tires. Also if you do decide to clutch it, dont waste ur money on a kit. All they come with is springs and you can buy them at over half off if you order seperatly
