ASE in Sherwood Park is hosting a event in Valemount this year. Stop into the Arctic Cat dealer ask for info there. Will be the second year that this has been offered and will help with your riding.

I have watched ALL the videos and now I`m a expert rider. Maybe Just saying

I'm booked for April 6,7 and 8! So pumped!!!! The bill came to just a little over $2800 for three days. I look at it like playing hockey with Gretzky... It's a once in a lifetime thing!

I know Rasmussen is coming to Valemount - but I kinda wanted to try something different and sled somewhere I have never been. Burant is an hour out of Denver - and it is sled from the back door of the lodge. I have watch all the "Schooled" videos to - but I am still a no-talent hack. Go figure.

Hornydevil - just talked to the guy. It is $725 a day all in - guiding, sled and accom. That is (holy chit) expensive - but kinda is a treat for working like a dog this year.

Cheers,

Greg

Exactly what I was thinking. I would love to ride with Rassmussen too - that guy is a god - but going with him up here will still be he same "get up in the am, warm up the truck, etc) chit.

I am so stoked to wake up on the am and go from the door. I have Dec 27, 28, 29 just booked. Great guy - sent him an email and he phoned back within 5 minutes. And what a great guy to talk to - they have already been sledding this year!! Oh - I am not going to sleep for two months

So are you guys going for the Mountain Series or do they have a deal for the Ultimate Adrenaline Series listed on the website? Also what are differences in the sled rental between the two Series?

I went about three years ago and it was worth every penny. Only down side I had was we were with a group who had only rode in boston. (500 ft above sea level) It was tough to keep the group going because they were not used to 12000 ft. We drove from Cold Lake with our own machines as well. Have Fun!

The way I understand it, if you book the ultimate series and rent you get turbo'd pro rmks and you ride with Burandt. If you you book the other one( the mountain series) you ride with Sahen and get stock pro rmks.

Barefooter- Burandt is a great guy eh? I talked to him for probably 15 minutes and he ripped me about riding a ski doo! LOL. as for Rassmussen.... Amazing!

I got the same treatment! Well - I guess I will see what the magic is in the RMKs!

BTW - I have the greatest wife in the world. I mentioned this yesterday after the sled show to her. Not only do I have the full papal dispensation to head down and do this - she worked really hard booking me flights this am. God I love her - and she doesn't sled!

Been down once before. Don't overlook spending a day with Sahen. That guy is just as good as Chris IMHO. And a little more personable to talk to. Both great guys though and an awesome learning experience!

In the videos he's either getting stuck, running into things, or standing around and giving Burandt lip .. which is fun to watch !! lol but the videos don't make me want to spend hundreds of dollars riding with him.

That being said, if I had an extra $4000 to spend on a sled trip.. i would sell my rev and buy an etec and immediately become a better sledder :D:beer:
