I have the 850 cooker solved and I am in production now and working on the list of orders .fernie snow should see his tomorrow or the following day.i worked hard on bringing you a very good sounding can from a very throaty sounding motor . not an ear bleeder this one .most cans built for this motor will have great difficulty in making it quiet . ski doo passes the exhaust thru nearly 60 inches inside ther can to quiet it down .
awesome feeling sled to ride . only down side to changing out the cans is what you have to go thru to get the stock one out .
for all those that didn't like the look of the last neck on the 800s I changed this one just for u guys hahahahaha . no the build just allowed us to, as doo left a lot more room on the neck department but skinnied up the compartment so we added a heat shield to the hot zone as well .
our sled ran on clicker one all day on top of boulder in handlebar deep snow .not sure if we just had a good unit or if this is the norm with the clutch set up .
if it tends to be the norm we would need to add a few grams to the levers. were waiting to see how all the test units show after breakin is done

Sounds like heat reflective tape will be absolutely necessary on those recoils.

Make sure with the T3s that you put some foil tape or tinfoil on your rope recoil, the can gets so hot that itll melt it or heat it up so that it slows down the spring if you're riding hard enough...

Gonna install a couple cooker cans today. Heehaw

Yes, the real cooker can………theThing! Al and Kathy sent a couple out on the Hound and I received them late yesterday. Gonna be sweet

I will do an audio video later this afternoon. As Al has mentioned in previous posts, the sound of this version is amazing.

Where's the pics and info? Will we see anymore power from this or does it flow the same as the stock muffler?

Al correct me if I'm wrong. But you shouldn't see more power, it will be very close to stock with the exception of the following.
Better sound
Lighter weight
And of course all the hot eats you can pack..

I'll post a pic of one tomorrow if you guys like.

What I can tell so far is that the connecting process is awesome. I experienced a few heat related issues with the 174" track and used baffles and foil tape to prevent the plastics from melting. Maybe I'm a little paranoid, but I did the same thing this year as a precaution. I call it a little "tender love and care".

I covered the re-wind with foil tape (just the cheap kind from CT). With an old license plate holder (off the front of one of my wife's cars) that was hanging on the wall, I cut and placed it over some electrics and hoses with a couple of zip ties. Then covered that with the foil tape. I'm thinking it should work well.

Particularly now, as they are building things more compact and tighter. Used to be lots of room and heat didn't appear to be an issue. It is always good to be on the safe side as I found out the hard way with the 2015.
