Well we headed up on Sat and Sun to McBride and rode Bell Mountain on Sat. A buddy of ours broke in his brand spanking $24,000.00 M8 "Turbo" with 25 Kms on it by driving it into a tree !! Broke the bumper and cracked the hood all up on the right hand side ! I guess he thought it was a wood chipper ! At least he had an audience in the background to see the whole thing ! LOL:confused::confused:

Ya it was somewhat embarrassing going over to help him pull it off the tree and pick up the broken pieces.
Not quite sure what he was thinking !

Looks like the sled has to much power for him .
I kinda think so also..
But I was not going to discuss that with him just after he spent so much money on it. With his first ever ride in the mountains and with that sled (235HP) , it was a bit overwhelming for him. I am a little sore today, not from sledding but from pulling him out all day long. LOL
He also drove into a deep creek just down from the cabin at Bell and went over the bars and broke off one of his expensive handguards. I figure the weekend carnage will cost him about $1,500.00 even before he makes his first payment.

Shame he hit a tree but lets look on the positive side, met a guy a few years back who took his new Turbo Apex for a ride in Renshaw, throttle stuck and you can guess the rest....writeoff...lol...
Sorry to hear about his bad luck.

Why would you spend $25,000 on a sled :confused:

For your "first" mountain sled I have to agree..The salesman saw him coming !!
he could have got two of them for that price, one for him and one for his girlfriend.
OR a nice sled and a nice new quad also.. JMO.
