Cooke has the best snow they have had in 10 years. same with West and IP. we were in cooke 2 weeks ago and rode at least 2'ft of fresh everyday. It was the best 3 days in a row of riding I have ever had. worth the trip for sure.

Be super careful with avy conditions is cooke. I've ridden cooke every year for the past 8, but only in the spring. There is some big country up there and it really kicks ass, but can kick your ass this time of year for sure. Big slide paths, big run outs and faces. Right off the bat when you get to the top of Daisy Pass be careful dropping in. There is a big face on the left that slides all the time and when it does usually runs all the way through the bottom. Have fun, but be careful up there. Everything has been really stable for the most part but we have had a stretch of really cold weather and sun. Sun crusts, surface hoar or the norm right now, so next big dump it going to make things iffy at best. Especially up there.
