I had this by my footwell under the primary but it kept getting jammed with snow and blowing the fuse.

Much better location here. Just cut the hole a big bigger and added some side panel vents. Works great! IMG_5184.jpg

What's that off of? What did you plug into? Sorry just got a 17 and noticed my foot was warm from the heat off the clutchs this looks like a good solution

Are you sure your foot isn't warm from the brake?? I felt this as well but on an 18. When I checked the clutch I didn't think it was that warm. Noticed it on a 30km rip down to the truck.

It’s a ktm radiator fan (stole it from my 300)
Plugs into the accessory outlet which is already fused.

Thank you KD and everyone else. I pretty much can't read about blowholes without all these juvenile thoughts popping into my head and it is a relief to see some of those in a post. (Does it suck or blow? - It sucks) Thank you all

You should put the blow hole on your monosuit. After you fart in the monosuit, it puffs up and you look the Michelin man.

Probably would work better if if blew. will it mount the other way around?

No need to remount the fan. Just change the polarity.

And I disagree. I’m gonna keep it on suck mode ;)

Got lots of fresh air coming in from the bottom added vents.

Have you noticed a big difference in clutch temps since doing this? I put a clutch kit and mine but clutches are still way too hot for my liking.

Does the KTM fan electrical plug fit the accessory wiring plug or did you have to change it?

No.. wire your own plug

I only measured once when sled was bone stock, no fan, no vents, all the foam in and after rigorous abuse i was reading about 200* .. which is way better than the 240-260 i was getting on my 17 with clutching / gearing mods and vents.

If we get another deep day before my DJ clutch kit shows up i'll try to stop and measure belt temps to see if the vents / fan actually do anything.

The way i see it, cost me nothing, doesn't hurt anything and at the very least it's a great goggle dryer.

I think it looks pretty slick. One extra thing to unplug so adds a total of about 3 seconds to taking your belt cover off.

Part # for the fan?? I'm interested in giving this a try depending on cost of the fan!
Thanks
