yes a good number are in Graves...NSow is a little lighter than same time last year, but if last few years are any indication, sledding got REALLY good about mid february last year, and didnt stop till mid-April...
he is not that big of a bull...young one, just growing up, but this guys second ever bull, and second one he has ever seen in the wild...he is a blessed hunter :)
This area yields BIG bulls as in 350+ bulls routinely, but this guy shot the first oen he saw...biggest I have seen in the area is...
got a matched pair...and another filly on the ground too...the Mare is packing, and her two year old gelding is being ridden by a buddy...
pic was a staged pic, as we also had to load the gelding with quarters from another elk...was a long day!!! that trip yielded 3 elk...a week later went back...
I think you need to hang around some guys who are better shots...but then again, boys are just toys to you :)

full season on the powerclaw on my T-Nytro...will be selling it to buy a CE 174x16x3.0"....CE even in 2.5" is way better track for powder and for spring stuff...IMHO...
Fernie is only an hour and half from my house...we can just stay here...and go up there for the day for a ride...hook up with Doug...and then come down and ride the locales here...and some of the new ones our crew has been showing me....great places!!!
