Rode forrester Jan. 19 and it is in need of some snow. had a good time as usual and the trail wasn't in terrible shape. The slide pano-dude mentioned was huge and many places have slid already so be careful out there and mindful of where your buddies are at all times.
I can guarantee you will be overweight with two sleds on your deck, had a 2006 2500 5.9 diesel and i was over weight with a quad cab where you have a mega cab so more weight yet. Ended up going with a 2500 gasser and was legal wherever i went so if you are at all wondering if you will be legal...
Would love to know as well if this could be done on pump gas and what kind of horsepower numbers would you be expecting with a low boost system because I would be all over something I dont need to tune or tinker with. Just want pull and go and fill up at a local gas station and do it again.
Ya, the booth was quite busy and they were in a hurry and pretty much chucked me the bags, beacons and probes and said thanks. Anyhow the moral of the story is check everything before you leave
Had a 2010 dodge 2500 5.7l and loved the truck. Got decent mileage of 18-19 mpg taking it easy on the highway which i thought was great. Had a cold air intake is all i did for mileage adders. Had a sled deck on it with a couple of sleds and it handled it no problem with a set of airbags. Dont...
I dont remember the exact name but they were out of Golden, spent about 4K in their booth that day between avy bags, beacons etc and didnt notice the missing cylinders until december so like a month later. I had a feeling I was screwed the moment I noticed them missing.
Bought them at the snow show and do you think they would have fully refunded me for two bags coming back without cylinders, dont think so. So sucked it up and wont be buying anything from them again.
Did something similar a few years ago, bought two new snowpulse avy bags and didn't get the cylinders. Unfortunatley they didn't believe me that they didnt give them to me so that cost another 500 bucks to order a couple new ones.
Thanks for the input, some say their 600 is an ho and some dont say. They are probably the same setup but just wanted to make sure it was not junk like the 800 is. Did the 700 also have the same issue as the 800's? There are a few good deals on 700's out there as well but scared of having to do...
Looking at buying a run around sled for here in alberta around the 5,000 mark and it looks like i can pickup a 600 HO from Polaris but have no experience with them at all and looking for opinions on longevity and quality of the 600 from polaris. Heard the hoor stories about the 800's so does...
Had a new dynasty spas tub and I increased my power bill $20-30 per month depending how cold and how long it stayed really cold. Just a drop in the hat in the big scheme of things.
from a guy in the car business if the 6.0L has had all of the known issues repaired already it should be alright and 19,900 is not a terrible starting point, gotta leave some room for overallowance on a trade. on another note how about this for sale:
2010 Dodge 2500 SLT Crew Cab 5.7 Hemi with...
