Yip Small world Thanks for the tip, rode the pipeline north and found some nice spots. Both of our names are Rick , but he’s the one with the moose size head. Had to get 5xl helmet lol When we get stuck I just tie a rope to the sled and around his neck and throw a piece of jerky 10 feet...

Yes the parking lot at Cateract was interesting Road going in was plowed and sanded. It didnt seem like the lot would be a challenge but 50 feet into the lot was like quick sand We had new dodge Diesel 4x4 with studded tires and it was instantly humbling On Boxing Day most guys lined...

    Throw me a bone

I am aware that Cateract in Alberta is trail only zone. I’ve been there a few times this year and I’m brainstorming on an area there that is a little more open opposed to socket in treed in trails I have a buddy coming down from Edmonton and we are hoping to spend time practicing and...

Ya, that was us. We got to staging at 8 ish I’m not sure why the trail at staging has a gate on it , so we buck through the campground and pick up the trail from there The M6 had a couple bogging issues again today , got me in some trouble when it happened at the worse time. The belt is...

Etherington Staging area is skimpy and my guess is Cateract will be worse The Trail riding in before you start to climb has rocks kicked up. It was snowing a bit up top and having older sleds we just buck through what ever There was 4 or 5 trucks in staging but I didn’t see anyone out...

I don’t know anything about your small groomer capabilities but Skyline was drifted in on both sides of the summit today For me those 10 or 15 drifts near the top were evil... All of “4-5 “ feet mounds Final conclusion I’m old !! I know you guys have seen a million things over the...

    M6 bog or stumble

It’s just a “ off idle “ light throttle bog once in a while But always at the wrong time like loading on a trailer lol Something that might help others diagnose Today parking the sled in the yard the throttle almost feels like it goes dead but I noticed some engagement on the belt ...

I really don’t think so from that side It’s skimpy here and there down low when the trees cover the trail but it was leaps and bounds better then Cateract staging Up top of etherington trail right in the thick trees before you get to the top , it was all of 2 feet.. I found out cause my...
