Crankcase won't fill with fuel injected engine. If its flooded the spark plugs are wet and won't spark. Simply dry plugs or replace them.

These sleds are geared too low already. Why would you want to go lower.

I would put new spark plugs in.

There are also pickups in the front of the tank that will suck air if the smart valve is stuck.

Trenching is suspension setup. Not running with the nose in the air is probably smart valves in tank sucking air.
