does he have a lift? i would run at least 29.5's either outlaw 1's or 2's. can run outlaws with stock clutching on the 1000 if you want. they seem to work good.
good idea, because the highway laws are always changing too so you will get the most up to date info, provided you get to talk too someone that has some knowledge
700MP seem to be good, do an ///dam in the clutch totally wakes them up and put a 15 shot of boss nos and race the 1000 outlander and run next to them....seen it myself
the lever wont freeze up on a perc. thats the only thing i noticed a few times with my mechanical reverse and also perc you dont have to line the gears up if you dont stop just right. if i could have a choice i would go with perc.
there should be a small roll pin that goes through the lever and there is a small tab the hooks the cables to the lever. the pin goes through all of them. thats what flips your choke on. if the tab is broke from the cable side you will need a repair kit for that as well. they are a little tricky...
I would contact rocky mountain riders in golden b.c, they took us a tour last year and we had lots of fun. they have everything you need from beginner to experienced and the guide we had made our day enjoyable with little tips and tricks.
Wiseco pistons are ok, but i would not use there gasket sets. spx pistons are good also, rec supply in saskatoon recommended them, they use them in there high hp race sleds and have had good luck.

i havent looked at it close yet but on the nytro the dealer said there is a little shaft in the lever or something that gets moisture in it and seizes in there. i have fluid film here too, might use that.
i am looking for some tips and tricks to try and keep my reverse lever from freezing. i like having it but its no good if you cant use it. anyone came up with a good tip, i tried lubricating it, but that doesnt seem to last. maybe grease??
thanks in advance
