This is all good constructive information. I'm seeing my broker tomorrow about rates/coverage, wanting my wife and two kids looked after should something happen to me. I'm also a private contractor so it'll be interesting to see what is said and offered for rates.

Especially glad to see you and your group are alright! Made me cringe while i sat here on the sofa enjoying a drink and hoping the outcome was nothing but good for you guys. Good to see that you shared that video also as those are extremely helpful tools for Avy training and excellent reminders...

Foreign ownership! The Japanese, Chinese, Dutch, American majority ownership of our resources make it all flow south and overseas to better markets/refineries etc...
Then us "Bleeding Hearted Canadians" buy it all back at an inflated price and grab our ankles at the pumps, big box stores, lumber...
Thanks for the info guys, and looking forward to my stay. I've been driving straight through on my way up to Ft.Mac for the last several years for work, finally starting to take advantage of seasons/weather/locations for sledding as i drive through.

On my way up north, heard good things about Summit River and should be rolling in tomorrow evening, quick ride Thursday then continuing on in the afternoon. If i make it far enough i'll stay the night.

Well put! We need to stop being the "bleeding hearted Canadians" that we are and stop foreign ownership of our resources, wether its oil, gas, or lumber etc... Invest in our own private ownership, like pipelines and refineries as stated above, sell it locally and make it accessible and...
