That’s the most you’re going to get, take into account needing to perfectly being able to spread the load over the truck to reach these numbers, legally you’re not going to be able to haul the numbers you wanted earlier
They seem slow shifting and lazy, all that’s happening is instead of you moving the stick and clutch the truck is doing it for you. Full auto like a Allison will be just like a pickup truck, power through all the gear no waiting for the trans to shift then the engine to power again then cut fuel...
Allison TC10 or do a manual. Automated Manuals = for highway runners. The TC10 with full power shifts will be a monster in the application you’re looking for. What are they suggesting for suspension? I would stay away from a Hendrickson HAS...
You also mentioned the A26, I heard real good...
The new CVIP regs were just renewed and full deletes are allowed for commercial vehicles, states right in the book omit in Alberta. Only a matter of time until the money hungry NDP government changes that all though.
BD throttle booster will make it feel less like a dog, about the only thing you can do and keep your warranty fully.
Delete is up 180hp gains to be had with everything else stock, EFILIVE or EZlynk is the new rage. If you have a 68rfe trans get the trans tune.
We have 12 trucks all between 2008 and 2017. Highest truck is 710,000kms. 15w40 Oil @ 10k and Fuel filters @ 30k. Haven't done any fuel system work since we ran 5.9s, the 6.7 trucks have been great to us.
No more then 65 loaded because when you hit rough spots in the road they jump to 150+ on the gauge and worry about blowing a bag. Empty 8-10

Yeah the updates you got offline are for emissions intact. You need the files for emissions removed, I have older delete files but I don't think they will work now that you updated. If you're in a bind and near Edmonton I can write you basic delete tune using efilive, then gives you time to sort...
Will get back on it next summer. It's running a 350hp tune. I sprayed cleaner through the rad and pressure washed out but I think I'll have to completely pull it out and clean.

Do you find the 8.9L is always on the verge of overheating during hot summer days? My 8.3 always has the engine fan on when working hard, blew out the rads and changed t stat and was no difference until the cooler temps now..

Thanks for all the information Stompin Tom, will be buying a set of Michelin XDN2's this week, truck is a single axle and it's crazy how little traction it has with the China rubber.

I was going to start a new thread but I'll post here, as a driver that's only ran truck and gooseneck and now going to Class 1 i have a couple questions. What's the best 11r22.5 tire for snow/ice traction and do people still run CBs on the highways or it is all 2way?
I know there's no replacing...
Yup, still good engine but has possibility of breaking rings and gets les mileage than the older trucks. 2003-04.5 or buy a 6.7L

That's usually a bad neutral safety switch. Drivers side of trans. Obliviously check fluid levels, can you pull codes from the pcm?

That's the location I've seen it before but that was a while ago. I just use Howes in winter and 2 stroke oil in the summer now. You might check optilube website, seen on Facebook they were offering shipping.
