22 Boost Flooding and killing itself

Buddy started his boost today. Ran as normal until it got about half way to operating temp and it randomly died. Wouldn't restart and smelled pretty gassy. We pulled the plugs and they were soaked. Dried them and the cylinders out and it restarted for a split second then died again. Tried drying...

    Trailer dealer recommendations

In the market for a new seld trailer but having trouble getting quotes. Called 2 different places and neither have gotten back to me with a quote. When I'm willing to give money for an overpriced aluminum box on wheels at least you'd think a guy could get a quote within a day or 2. Leaning...

    Alpha broken rail picture bank.

That picture has the same anodized big wheel kit as the one with the rail snapped clean in half. Wonder if it was the same dude.

    Alpha broken rail picture bank.

I honestly can't believe that rear bracket broke off. I drilled the rivets out of mine and chiseled it off the get a broken bolt and extractor out this morning. It took some pretty nasty smashes with a decent sized hammer to break that glue off. I was pretty surprised how tough it was.

    Rear scissor crack

I had the bolt mostly drilled out but now the easy out is broken inside and I can't drill that thing out for the life of me.

    Rear scissor crack

Broke mine today and at the same time snapped the bolt on the other side. As an added bonus I snapped the POS screw extractor that I paid way too much for. So not sure what I'm going to do now. Gonna end up renting a doo while my brand now cat sits in the trailer. I'll have a couple drinks and...

Haven't had a chance to mess around with it the past few days. I'll let ya know as soon as I check it out. Thanks!

    Proclimb bog at 5200-5300 rpm

Now that I think about it I believe my manual said 1.377 inches +- so compared to your specs that wouldn't be right. These specs must have been changed slightly throughout the years. I'm assuming the manual your numbers came from were for a different year

    Proclimb bog at 5200-5300 rpm

I set the length to whatever they had listed in my 2012 manual. Can't remeber exactly what the measurement was but it was listed in standard so the metric numbers you gave don't ring a bell. Either way I think the cables are set right but I will double check. I did see that the servo was opening...

    Proclimb bog at 5200-5300 rpm

Just finished putting it back together after throwing new pistons in it. Went for a rip and it runs fine at all rpms except for in the low 5000s. If you feather it in this area every once and a while it bogs out almost like you hit the kill switch for a split second. Checked reeds and power...

    6.4 vs 5.7 Dodge Engine

Does anyone have more details on the tranny issues? Was there a recall on something or was it just a few lemons that guys got unlucky with?

    6.4 vs 5.7 Dodge Engine

Looking at a 3/4 ton and looking for some insight from anyone that's had one or both of these engines. Big difference in power or fuel economy? Any major issues you've had with either? Ideally I'd like a Cummins but the budget might not allow it at the moment. Truck will be a daily driver and...

    Strikt Gear Service Rocks

Ya definitely happy with my gear. Almost wish it would wear out faster so i could justify buying new stuff. They have some pretty sweet new designs coming out.

    Strikt Gear Service Rocks

Punched a hole in my bibs on my running boards a couple weekends ago. Sent them into the crew at Strikt and they repaired them free of charge. Cant ask for much better service than that. Pretty happy to be supporting this Canadian company, not to mention their gear looks wicked too. Thanks...

    Everything BaoFeng & VHF Radios

Also if anyone else wants to play around with the VIP software and is using the original UV82, the ZIP. file version for the UV-82HP on the baofengtech website seemed to work fine for the original UV82. I was having some issues with a MSCOMM32.OCX file error when using the RAR. version of the...
