Excellent idea thanks :) We were out this weekend (Canada day long) Had an absolute blast and never had a problem. The area around cutoff creek had lotsa mud, although some trails were washed out. I am gonna find out fer sure though about the photocopies. Saw a ton of bikes this weekend, NONE...
Yep, a friend started a forest fire a few years back because he didn't put the spark arrestor back on after working on it. He paid large for the fire crews coming out. Thanks for all the info.
AMEN brutha, We did think about that F250 trying to keep up with us on the trail. It is retarded, end of day, on our way out, raining, The dude might have let us finish our day having fun in the mud!
Yep its all good, I work customer service, meet lotsa grumpy folks, I had him smiling before he got back into his truck. I'm just sayin,,,, I am a non drinker so all I could offer is some kind words.
See some of the officers out there have their own attitudes. Our sleds are all insured and registered as well. I have interacted with some officers that are so good it makes you feel bad that they had to waste their time.
Its all good, everyone got a lesson for the day, buddy will fix everything before he comes to play again , I will bring ID and hope the next guy who stops us got some the night before,, teehee. Don't get me wrong it is good to see them out there keeping an eye on things, but kokanee 800 is right...
NO ONE was ignorant with the wildlife guy, get it straight ppl. There are some ppl out there that are just naturally rude, dig. That is why I was so surprised with the attitude!!!! I have talked to many, many officers, have RCMP that are family.
Yes I was surprised about the light thing, but even more surprised that he was so annoyed that I didn't have I.D. There are names on insurance and reg. right? So I didn't realize I needed my D.L. Well we learned something, and whats the saying ignorance is no excuse? Next time buddy will be...
O I know how to batt my eyelashes even if they were full o mudd. Have been stopped lots out there where we play that is why we are ALWAYS legal, more so than the people who drink all weekend and drive their quads thinkin they wont get stopped.
I don't carry I.D. either, don't need licences right (er am I wrong on that too, teehee). I think buddy mustve had a bad day or something, he was sure ornery.
Yaha Tinda is out that way, haven't been out ridin there but friends have they say its good ridin. Bearberry is that way too. Not sure of campgrounds google em.
We were on our quads all legal like, and don't drink. He waited for us to get off the trail, there was a place you have to go across the road to hook up with the other trail. O and something I never gave a second thought to was bringing I.D. with me.
We were on quads all legal like, I was just surprised to learn about the light thing. O and carry your I.D. into the bush too, never thought about that one either.
Yesterday we went for a ride to Cutoff creek, we were stopped by a wildlife cop, he said the dirt bike needed a headlight and taillight, as well as insurance and reg??? What never heard of the light thing, you would think if it was illegal to drive without lights they would be sold with them...
