I would look at your spark plug and change that too. I did in mine and it worked fine... another thing especially if you've taken water into the belt drive, is to drain it out and wash your belt. Mine slips ever since last years drowning and it's on the to do list for this year. :)
I agree... there should be some sort of sliding scale or curve for limitation or restriction based on age and/or experience. Most people want the latest and greatest and that's fine, others need it. When 450cc was the max you could buy the terrain was the same - why would you need anything...
I have stock size swamp lites and find them fine on dirt roads. They are great in the mud/swamp etc.. the only regret that I have is not going to a size bigger when I purchased them. Next round I'll be going to the 26 or 27's.
Congrats! Being recently wed myself I have to let you know now that in a year after your wedding (1st anniversary) you will have to eat your wedding cake again. Just warning you :d
Another thing you may want to look at is the level of RAID you have it running on as it too will drain alot of memory. Especially if your running 2k3 server.... just my :twocents:
Linux excluded of course... ;)
Re: Calgary BEER night?
Obviously my definition of Suds night has taken on a whole new meaning.. hence this post forward we shall call it BEER night... until such a time that there are other posts that are miscommunicated on the above definition :)
:beer::beer:I remember seeing something back in April / May about a Calgary Suds night.. just wondering if there is another one coming along soon?:beer::beer:
:beerchug: :d
ahh yes, tis the season for quad drownings... the only thing that I have to add is from experience not more than a month ago. I ended up sucking water in through my muffler and found that taking out the spark plug and pulling on the crank a few hundred times cleared out alot of the water that...
What about on a Suzuki King Quad? I got water in the belt housing but I think most of it is drained out... is there anything else i need to do? I didn't drain it from a plug because I don't think that it has one... it all just came out the back...
Cancel that, it has one... I'll drain it tomorrow.
Thanks Summitteer, I knew it was about 1 meter just wasn't sure of the time. That's quite awhile when you think about it... you aren't going to scuba with the thing :)
I had been running premium in all my vehicles / toys up until the price of it went over 1.20/L. I still run premium in my quad though and will continue to do so I think. I sure can notice a difference in my Accord and Oldsmobile when regular fuel is put in. Depends on where I get the fuel that...
Very cool. I like the idea that mods are becoming more familiar to the manufacturer's. That just might be enough for third party companies who sell after market parts to lower prices and come out with more of a lineup on mods and perf parts.
I love the look of the quad too!
This was fixed. Apparently the connection to the actuator wasn't seated properly... Easy enough fix but a pain in the a** when you are stuck without 4X4.
So... I won't get into details as my lunch hour is only so long. However, this past weekend me, my quad and a creek got quite intimate and there was ALOT of water involved. I went into the creek, sunk, sunk more, water in boots, panicked and damn it all I knew better but with the panick, the...
Even the Garmin(s) aren't water proof... Water Resistant is more like it. They can be in water but only for a limited time. I have the Garmin CSx76 and have had it get wet on the trails through puddles with no problems...
Hope this helps.
