Yeah, I hope to store my ATV in Edmonton by early summer so that I can go out to Bruderheim lots.

How/Where can I view pictures? Long Lake trails, are they ATV friendly this time of the year? Where is a good staging area to access the trails there? Sorry for all the questions, thank you for your patience everyone.

Yeah, it is east about 100km or so. From Tawatinaw/Rochester where the ATVs are stored, it is about 45 minutes to Long Lake. Now, are there trails near Long Lake, I thought I have read posts about it, but it could be that people are referring to Long Island Lake instead.

Ok, so there is a Long Island Lake, and a Long Lake, both of which have trails then? Long Lake is straight east of Long Island Lake, and definately close to Tawatinaw. Anybody know how the trails around Long Lake are right now? Sounds like a good place to check out to me, thank you.

So far no luck, and we want to hit some trails tomorrow.

I have the front and back racks installed on the quad, I was thinking to split some sprinkler hose and install some on the racks so they can give me a shove without scratching their expensive 4x4s.

Yeah, I figured I have to stay out of the deep snow. Have to find some packed trails to hit I think, then I should be ok. I was able to get the mudlite tires brought in before the weekend, so I am going to try them before getting chains, because the chains were special order for a 22" tire.

Ok, so no atv's there, good to know. That should be put onto their website I think. The reason I was interested in riding there is that the trails are close, and groomed so for a 2x4 it would have been perfect. That and even with the links and info I have received, I still have not found any...

I will check out the Outlaw's website, thank you very much for the link. I dont want to chew up their track, if that is the unspoken rule then I will find elsewhere. Anywhere near Tawatinaw would rock, maybe the Outlaw ATV club has some more info. Anybody know of some ATV trails around Tawatinaw?

Also, anyone know for sure if the Pembina Drift Buster trails allow ATVs or not?

Any ATV approved areas closer to Westlock? I live in Edmonton but my quad is stored 15 minutes north-east of Westlock near Tawatinaw.

I just picked up a 1990 Bayou 220 2x4. Would like to head out, the rear tires are not in great shape and my new ones are on order. Should I pick up some chains for them? Will it help in the snow?

Yeah, I guess they would be a bit more boring, but being groomed, would be easier for my 2x4 I think. Im a newbie, I'm just learnin.

That is why I want to find out before going out there. I did see some pics on their website with atv there, but I want to be sure, dont want to head there and not be able to go.
