If a dealer is not willing to let you demo a sled for a day or 2 during the week, (a lot of times the demos will be in the mountains on weekends either on demo rides or salesman riding them), then dont bother spending you money there. I see you are from eckville head down to rainy creek...
I was wondering this as well, just from riding it at home it seems like i could add some weight as well, hitting 8400 at 3000' with 163 track and stock weights (10-62 i believe) usually if i am at 8250 at home it is dialed in in the mountains. I am thinking with all the weight being taken out...
I wonder what the true number of broken shafts would be without people running the various clamps, 2012 shafts or other fixes. There were a lot of people including myself that came over from another brand and that XM is looking better and better. The cost of a recall isnt going to be near as...
I am assuming that a few people have had the front shock spring come dislodged from the lower retainer and rubbing on the shock housing. While the preload is set well within spec it is easy to unload the shock by tipping the sled on one side and dislodging the spring causing it to sit crooked...
Thanks for the replies, i am going to be trying the pa head and hps can shortly and adding some weight to the primary and see if i can get a little more. 45mph with the 163" would be awesome!
Just wondering what other guys are getting for tracks speeds on a climb in deep powder, i was getting 39-42 mph last year and would like to get a bit more(as always). Be sure to list what you have done. Mine is geared down one tooth but otherwise stock. Thanks.
Glad you like your xp Maxwell, i am sure from your posts that you would never consider anything else and that makes my point perfectly, no need to get deffensive!:d
I have 6000 miles on my '06 and have nearly taken the plunge on an xp numerous times. Especially last year with the etec i thought that was going to be the answer and having to do the motor on my 06 i held off. I ride with lots of xp's both modded and stock my 06 has a stock motor, geared...
Thanks for the input, i have been talked to the people at rainy creek a few times and they seem good. Just wanted to see what other peoples experiences were. Thanks for the replies.
Has anyone noticed a whining noise from there brake. I tightened up the drive chain a bit and it seemed worse so i loosened it off a bit. Is this normal?
thanks:beer:
Just bought a used pro 163 and just looking for a good dealer in cental Alberta to do the servicing/warranty work. Not looking for bashing here just who has had good experiences with getting service and warranty work done.
Thanks:beer:
