I'm surprised no one else has started a thread for this... I have seen it mentioned on other threads. My brand new 2014 summit X has a rusty drive shaft, I talked to my dealer and apparently it is normal and they will stand behind it 100% but it doesn't change the fact that I just bought a brand...

It's not 100% useless, if you can see the gauge is still in break in you can expect more fuel and oil consumption. If I have a chance it will be going in to get updated, they told me I was getting a break in gauge so I want one.

I have the same issue and my dealer said they don't have the update yet. Like you said its not a big deal but...
