1800 miles on my 12 600 one pipe sensor failed that's it
700 miles on my 13 600 no problems
i just pulled the top end off my 13 for a 660 kit, everything looks great inside
I didn't turn the oiler up on either sled, I don't think the 600 needs it.
What's your throttle cable tension like? If there's any slack it will hesitate, where the handlebars meet the post there is a black rubber cover on the cable push that out of the way and the cable can be adjusted for slack.
What are you guys running for rpms off the bottle ? Then on the bottle? I wanted to run noss on my 600 but peak rpms is 8250 and the rev limiter is 8500 correct? Just seems to close to work, I no the 800 motor runs less rpms for peak power.
What rpms where you running off the bottle? Also you use such little fuel in that fuel bottle fill it up with av gas are race fuel for cheap insurance.
Was your stock spring a black green? What primary weight are you running? 64? If it ran fine when you first installed the spring I would replace the secondary spring, and clean your primary again. Then clean the exhaust valves next if the problem still happens.
Only heard of one 600 blowing a drive shaft, between the 3 Internet forums I read. No belts yet. It's the same break in on the 600 and 800. Almost 300 miles on my 600 no problems yet.
It will cut out above 6500 rpms you can't get full throttle and there should be a engine light on the display. Read your owners maunel to check for codes.
