Thanks for the replies. I checked the bolt and all was good, so re-torqued it down. I asked a buddy who rides a 2012 Assault... same issue on his too. So, am I to assume this is 'normal'?
I'll definitely look into the Boost-it mounts if I need to replace.
Ok... I've been doing various pre-season tune-ups and noticed my clutch side motor mount located nearest the front of the sled (just behind the primary) isn't centered. I've checked the other remaining mounts and they are all centered where the rubber cogged bushing sits. Couple pics to show...
WOW... this is exactly what is happening with my set-up too. I run the SLP Blue/Pink spring and just took everything a part for inspection and cleaning. My spring wore against the jam nut, sheering off one of the edges and you can see on the inside of the spring where it rubbed and took of the...
Regarding the bearings after you remove and cleanup the empty chain case... don't skip greasing the sealed bearings. Basically the only lubrication I could see was the chain oil itself. I pried off the seal with a tiny screw driver and greased them up with a needle tip on a grease gun...
Yeah that could come in handy to. I kept mine basically stock. I'm very picky about how my sleds runs and rides so really looking forward to my first ride of the season. Should know immediately if it's any better. Even if it's the same... I get rid of that chain system which I honestly...
Hopefully I'll know soon. I just installed it on my 2012 Pro RMK. Piece of cake to install and really like the tensioning system. The belt weighs next to nothing and is crazy thin being made of carbon fibre.
Happy to share. I live in Saskatchewan and I insured my 2012 Pro RMK 800 with Sask Gov Insurance and I have another sled - 2007 RMK 600 insured through Openskies Insurance.
Looking at the numbers on the newer sled:
Policy includes: Collision, Comprehensive, and Third Party Liability up to...
I have an '07 600 HO. Bulletproof motor. Over 5000 miles on it. Picked it up last year for 4k and first thing I did was install a Holtzman ATACC. Changing out the jets it a major PITA otherwise. My son rides this sled... I've played around a bit and handles great. It's an RMK 155.
Just posting back my reply from SLP in terms of their 2012 Stage 2 kit which includes their pipe, can, power commander V, and clutching.
1) Will a 2012 Stage 2 kit work on the new 2013 Pro RMK 800?
Answer: The pipe for the 2012 RMK will not fit the 2013 RMK due to the fact that Polaris...
Okay... I'll stop there. I don't want to completely change the meaning of andus' post and hijack the thread. :)

They did that from 2011 to 2012 as well and SLP made a little spacer to adapt the bottom mounting position. So if it is the belt that changes things up I would assume the Assault doesn't change?? Pipe and can should be the same as the 2012??
