Ah, Long Island Lake is kind of close to Vega. There's some good random camping around Vega, would I expect the same at Long Island Lake? Or is it more a staging area and provincial campground out there?
Just finished rebuilding the engine in my Honda 350, bored it out. Works like new. Quad was only sunk twice and ran out of oil/overheated once..... :nono:
That's hillarious dude. Been there, done that. I think that's part of what makes camping fun - the thought of "hey remember the days when we camped in this with only this?" I'm sure we've all done it.

Just got back from Bighorn yesterday. Everything's quite dry, weather for the next few days calls for sunshine! Trails on the other side of hwy 11 ( Tershishner Area ) are great. Loop from T1 to T3 was nice and muddy :beer::beer:
So Bighorn's pretty wet is it? Haven't been out this year yet, heading out this friday... How's it looking? By the pictures i'd figure pretty soaked, but are those the serviced trails?
