Summit tree thats a pretty good idea might try that out. See how it goes when i start fabing. Ya im kinda curious too. All i could really hear before was a bit of turbo with it behind the headlight and the bov. Im guessing it will be way more noticable now but who doesnt love listening to that...
To come through where i needed it to it had to be there. Still woulda looked ****ty if i cut a circle because thats where the stock intake hole was. Never thought of heating a pipe and making a hole. Gonna fab up 2 aluminum plates tomorrow and powder coat em black then rivet them in. Dont think...
Made a custom cold air intake for my turbo pro. Have a headlight delete and intake was behind there but in deep snow the steam off the engine would cause it to bog so i re routed it out the hood. I got a little carried away with the cut off saw now i need to fill the hole around the intake. Any...
Finally had time to get the new b&m boards on the pro. Install wasnt to bad. Just cut off the old boards and a few bolts and rivets and done. Happy with the install now to just get some seat time on them. Should be a huge improvement over stock
Got a set of the qap-4's. 70g base weight. No insert lugs though. Came in my sled and just bought a new set with inserts. Can get them from dalton not sure on the price
Ya been talking with neil at boost it. Figures exhaust doughnut was leaking. Had boost its aluminum exhaust doughnut in it. Just got them replaced and new fuel filter in. Siphoned out all the gas dumpin in straigh av gas. Just waiting for the rtv hi temp silicone to setup on the exhaust( wanted...
Warhawk you think its the torco? Ran the torco in revy and worked well. Have heard good things about it. Gonns siphon out my tank anyways and start fresh. Just put the new fuel
filter in. Could blow through the old one but it was minimal not like the new one. Gonna change fuel before start up...
Wierd will check it out. I got the hood off so will see if it moves. All my springs are doubled up for the turbo so i dont know if that would be it but will deffinately check it out. Thanks everyone for the input!
Dont have the regulator on the fuel pump any more. Its replaced by an inline rising rate regulator for the boost it xic fuel system. Will check pump pressure once i can track down s gauge for it
Also running shell premium with torco accelerator. Should be around 105 octane with 2 cans of torco to 40 litres of pump premium. Is race gas/torco hard on fuel filters?
Ya re clutched and boost down to 5lbs. Was 9lbs in revy. Got 77g weights in right now. Just ordered a new fuel filter will have later today. Put that in and try it out. Still trying to track down a fuel pressure tester gauge. Any body know how to test injectors?
What gauge would i use to check the pump pressure? Any way to check the fuel regulator or just replace em? Was thinking injectors as well. Gonna have to fix it myself no dealers around here that know anything about these sleds. You mention boost and they all go blank.
Ya it has me stumped. Its not super wet just looks like a really rich condition. Im guessing that its reeds now that ive been looking into it. Will do fuel filter as well when its apart. Deffinately seems fuel related and just started doing it out of the blue. Might contact boost it see if...
Not sure on filter. I got the sled with 500 miles on it. Has a apex rising rate fuel regulator non adjustable. Sled runs great except for mid to wideopen. Can cruise down the trail just cant hold it. Pued plugs and one is perfect chocolate brown other is wet. New plugs make no difference that...
