Spend the money and call frozen pirate.
They will teach you something that will make you better and safer I guarantee.
Secondly, you just ride for the day. No worries about being lost or stranded etc. They will take you places based on your skills.
Best money you can spend imo.
Most cant...
Rode coulees yesterday and big blue today.
Found some untouched snow in coulees and big blue has quite a bit left to ride.
The trails are descent but the last 10 miles into blue are big moguls.
Like said before......keep snow dancing.
We were in the coulees today and it was awesome.
First sleds in with 8" on the trail for last 15 miles.
I'm sure there hasn't been sleds there for a couple of days cause all tracks were covered and snow was over the bumper.
I bet only 15 total sleds there today.
Definitely worth the ride in.
I don't know the details on the groomer but trail was recently groomed past foam creek.
Before the turn to salmon it was not groomed.
The next 12 ish miles into groundhog were very rough with 2 ft moguls.
Foam creek has good terrain for messing around.
There is a couple creeks etc that give lots of options.
There is tree riding there as well.
Salmon has good tree riding.
I've never been to coulees or red sands.
Just looking for info on riding near kelowna.
Coming out for a family trip and want to ride the trails but I can't find a good map. If anyone knows where I can find trail maps and more information it would be appreciated.
We are coming out on Wednesday.
Been a good weekend. Still snow to be found if you go find it. Digger from blue river took us into salmon and it is still 2 ft deep where there is no tracks.
We were in groundhog east and west lady couple of days.
Can turn a 4 place around near 3 km mark. A bit of gravel for 1 km them trail gets better as you go up.
No open water.
Trail a bit rough but pretty good for time of year.
Had about 4 to 6 " of fresh snow last night. Still pretty good but...
Rode Nipawin this week. Trails not groomed and still rutted from Quads. Fields were ok. About 16" of snow so stubble was full. The snow is very dry and fluffy so you we were sinking down near the bottom.
Overall the riding was pretty good but not enough for cutting donuts. lol
Sled worked fine all day.
At end of day there is no e start or reverse.
Button seems to depress like it should.
Is there a fuse for this switch?
Thanks
Snow around nipawin is pretty good. Very rough in open areas but if you get into some trees its bumper deep and soft.
I agree with the last post, got much better in a couple of days.
Thx for the opinions.
I didn't mean to open up a can of worms that big. I have a case of ski doo oil.
I'll use it and then see from there.
Thanks again
