Do I EVER have the place for you.. we are already planning a fall trip there.:d Hundreds of trails, pick your flavour... it's my favorite place on this planet. It has everything from super tight technical, to hillclimbs to fast sweeping trails to mellow double track. Has been seen in several...

How did I miss this site?

How long has it been in existence? This place is so much better than all those other riding forums! I found it by accident when I was searching for information on Fort Mac. Glad I am here now.

Help, need directions to Stave Lake for Dirt biking

Drunks everywhere, not safe for kids or humans in general. I went there once 7 years ago, did not unload my bike. Look at this.... this will give you an idea. Halfway down the thread pages are a couple pics of the area.. oh, and a bike thief.

    beginner ridin in Kamloops area

As GS, the trails are not marked with "difficulty" levels. You can potentially start out on a on a trail that seems easy enough only to find that it becomes some gnarly single track. For me, that's great, not so good for someone starting out. Like PowderSlut mentioned, stay low... There are...

    New to Alberta...

No quad class unfortunately, the CEC does not have one either. I don't know what the class breakdown for bikes is either.. I am thinking it might be spectator only for me by the sounds of things. Here is some info.

    From BC to Fort Mac.

I hear you... I am pretty grounded and as selfish as this sounds I only care about riding.:) Ok, that's not all but you know what I am getting at. Oh how I am going to miss Greenstone. I was there pretty much every weekend (during riding season) for the past few years. I have to forget...

    New to Alberta...

Yeah, construction is one of those things. Fort Mac will be ok. We travel to races a lot but that will probably get cut down due to the distance. It will have to be week long ride trips now too. That sounds great White! I will have to make sure the bikes are up when you get back. I ride both...

    From BC to Fort Mac.

Hi Everyone.. Another newbie to the site but not to riding. My other half and I are moving from the BC Interior to Fort Mac and will be looking for people to ride with. A motocrosser at heart but I dodge trees now. Might have to take up snowmobiling again to entertain myself in the winter...

    New to Alberta...

I have lived and rode in BC all my life.. anyway, my other half is moving the construction biz to Fort Mac (he is a Red Deer baby) . That's why we are going. Our big project here has been delayed for several months so he has a contract up there. Gotta work to ride. We will be up by April 15...

KTM 300 XC-W anyone ride one before??

I do that all the time! I am 5'9" and did not get blessed with a long inseam. I installed an aftermarket short seat which helped just enough. Nothing worse than riding through the gnarly stuff, stopping to chat with your riding buddies, putting a foot down only to begin an ever so graceful...

KTM 300 XC-W anyone ride one before??

I love my 300. Best woods bike I have ever owned... I can't say enough good things about it. The power is there when I need it, it's fun to ride, light, flickable and it actually "four-strokes" over the all nasty stuff. It's almost cheating really.
