After I put the top end back together on the 800 Etec, I want to do a leak down test on the seals to make sure they are not leaking. Are there any lines I need to pinch off so I can get a good test. Thanks for any info

mom getting ready to put the top end together on my buddies sled. I want to change the gaskets on the rave valves. I understand they just unscrew. When you put them back together do they screw in until they bottom out or do I need to count the turns when I take them apart

im helping a buddy rebuild the topend of his sled. It’s got one bad piston. I’m just trying to see what would have cause this. He was running straight avgas. You can now rock the piston back and forth in the cylinder , also some scoring in the cylinder The other one is tight like it should be.
How are you guys installing the billet thermostat. I have the exhaust out just trying to figure out the best way to get to it. Was thinking maybe pulling the chain case
Ha anyone tried Powder Freaks head on a Etec engine. I was talking to him he says 5 hp peak. Also suggested a sleeve in the pipe, and SLP Y pipe. Also thinking about his billet thermostat
I got a buddy who blew the top end on his 800 Etec. I’ve never done one, but have rebuilt 2 stroke dirt bike engines. Is there a website on how to take these apart. I’m more worried about the injector system then anything. Thanks
