4x4s are no problem. I've been to Brule many times and we only ride 4x4s. If you want have a good weekend trip you will have a blast. We always enjoy showing the sport riders how to climb. But you will have to try it some time. Whopper809 is right it's rough going in, I've seen a few trailers...
Hey dragonlady,
I'm a quad and a bike guy both street and dirt. I grew up riding dirt bikes and sleds, I just got into quading 2 years ago and I'm having a blast with it so far. There's nothing that can stop me from riding unless work of course. My quad works on the farm and plays in the off...
Thanks for the reply, your info is very helpful. I had a feeling it wouldn't be good for the dirt bikes this time. It's sometimes hard to find places suitable for both. Thanks again.
Kevin
Hey,
Wondering if anyone has been to Alder Flats lately. Thinking of making a day run from Edm. Myself and 3 or 4 trail bike riders. Never been there before. Is this area suitable for dirt bikes aswell as quads? What is the best staging area to hit? Can't see much info at all on the site for...
Hey,
I've been to Bruderheim, lots of fun and a good selection of riding. Vega's on the list of places to visit, heard good reports on the riding there. I believe it's very much like Bruderheim lots of sand. How would you rate it? Long Island Lake sounds good and has made it on my list as well...
Yes, I printed out the staging directions while planning the trip, but I ended up meeting up with someone before hand that joined up with us that lives in Two Hills. It was great having someone introduce us to the trails, as well meet a fellow trail rider that I hope to join again some day. It's...
Made it out to the Cougar Patch on Oct 14/07. We had a blast, I highly recommend this ride. A full day and a little bit of everything to challenge you and your machine. Bring the mud pants and a winch. We were the two quads and 4 trail bikes, we also met up with about another 20 quads. Theres...
Have you ever been to Duvernay Cougar patch near Two Hills? I have been wanting to try that as well, but again not sure if the new dirt bikers will be ok.
Thanks for the reply. I looked at some of the pics posted for that area and it looks great. But this time out I have four dirt bike riders with me. I'm not sure if they could handle these trails if there's lots of mud, three of the four are new riders.
Hey,
I'm looking for good riding trails for both quads and bikes within 2 hours of Edmonton. We're taking a day trip on sunday and considering the Cougar Patch, but it sounds like it might be hard for beginer riders on bikes. Any ideas anyone, Thanks.
Kevin
Hi,
Thinking of heading out to Duvernay this Sunday Oct 14/07. Does anyone know what kind of riding it is, is it good for quads and bikes? Does any one have directions to the best staging area? I know it's just north of Two Hills but not sure where to stage and ride. Hope some one can help me...
Hey,
What kind trails are around Elinor? We were thinking making a day run there from Edm. We have both quads and bikes. Do you know if you can still go riding this time of the year out there?
Kevin
Hey everyone,
I'm heading out to do some trail riding in Big Horn country next week, first time there. I was wondering where the best spots are to camp and stage for quading.
Kevin
