I rode Blue river last weekend Friday/Sat/Sunday. Conditions were great. easy to find snow if you know the riding zones. Fingers was some of the best riding Ive had in years bumper deep + most of the day.
The fix for plugs is running octane boost, been running VP Octanium since new. still on stock plugs with zero issues or detonation. As for Clutching i have a CNS kit and it completely changed my 9R, gained around 11mph track speed and backshifts properly. I havent had any P22 issues yet but i do...
Whats the color on your plugs look like at low rpm's compared to high rpms? Sounds like a fueling problem to me? Have you tried different numbers for your low rpm ranges?
Anyone know off the top of their head what the price is on a new crate engine or a re-man engine. apparently unconditional warranty becomes void the second something goes wrong. not very impressed with camrose polaris right now.
So heres the scoop on the sled as of today.
Talked to brokers marine. and they told me that the crank was gone along with 3 bearings and a rod bearing. then proceeded to tell me that they want to drop a crate engine into it at half my cost ( 3k ).
I had the sled for 2 weeks put 100km on it...
So an update to my "tired" engine. Wednesday night i went for a ride made it about 5km and it grenaded, didnt pull anything apart but im almost positive it was the bottom end. So i took it back to Camrose Polaris for warranty and they'll be looking at it.
Sled was running great before it blew.
I have a 11 Pro with a little over 2000km and i can tell shes tired.
So the solution in my mind is either the drop in kit ( 800$) or the 858 kit (2100$)
Does anyone here have experience with either? I'll also be adding an slp pipe/can and pcv combo to which ever set up i end up going with...
Gf's dads new Pro.
81.9 km 5.4 hrs not sure on manufacture date.
Blew in the middle of a field at more or less half throttle as he was still breaking it in.
You might want to consider running stock A -arms they bend and break because they are made too. not because they are weak. I'd rather twist a set of a-arms then bend my bulkhead!
Just my thoughts!
