That was the plan. I already have one and use it quite a bit. I check my belt/clutch temps when I stop sometimes but it would be nice to know when you are moving. I saw a post on Dynamo Joe's site that listed the self-destruct temps of various belts.

Here is some data on temp guage calibration I found on another site:
Take note that the scale is in Celcuis. The scale is on 9 bars.
Normal temp. for 2-strokes should be between T4 and T5 (42-45°C)
Normal temp. for 4-strokes should be between T4 abd T5 (75-78°C)
