Hey RobertG, I'm in the same boat, all my buddies went four wheels and I find they limit how far we get on the trails...."the hills are too steep for quads or it's too muddy or the trails are too technical". I'm in Fort Sask, and ride sand up here also I spend a lot of time riding in the...
Hello all, I'm a early 40's off-road bike rider looking for other riders to explore the BC backcountry. Officially all of my my buddies have converted to four wheels, and now I find my buddies can't take the same trails as the bike can.
A little about myself, I'm 40, I ride a 2015 KTM300 xc-w...
aside from price, what are the main differences between stainless steel header and muffler and a titanium one, weight, heat characteristics, which is superior?
Hey Justin, on my '08 xp 800 everest with 146" track, boysen cage rage and reeds, MBRP can, 19:45 gear ratio;

Secondary - 48-44 helix, 160-240 spring
Anyone else runnin a Team secondary on an 08 XP. I have ran mine for three seasons now and the thing works great, just interested on some different set-up ideas.
Thanks.
I always run premium, but bought last tank of premo from a sketchy gas station in a small town. Can I try an octane boost, or just drain the tank? Thanks!!
Hey Ken, sorry this sounded like a personal attack, this message was directed to mountain sledders in general not your organization. The strong language was intended to wake up the guys who sit around until it is to late. I do appreciate your clubs efforts, but you must agree that we can do more...
Great observation, what is the name of the heli-ski operation in this area. I am going to send e-mails to these companies with our concern of the environmental impact of an aviation fuel leak. It is law in Alberta for oil and gas leases have a containment around their tanks.
Hey scotts, good points. My motive for this thread is to see how much support can be gained before I take further steps (petitions to MLAs, large donations to BCSF). Are any lawyers sledders, I need help to translate BC gov. documentation to more laymans terms.
Hey good on you guys for this support, unfortunatly the reality is that a very small amount of this money is allocated to keep areas open, The mcbride club was not even aware of the closures in their area, we need to do more before it is too late. Write letters to BC MLAs, sign BCSF petitions...
WEAK! Out of 109 veiws only one true mountian sledder response, i guess when all of your favorite riding areas are limited to just valley bottom trail riding (fs roads only) and NO alpine or sub-alpine access, the majority would just sit back and watch this happen, and it will! Tree huggers and...
Re. snowmobile area closure for profit using caribou herd population statistics.
As sledders we are getting slowly pushed out of our favorite riding areas and it is quite unfortunate that for the most part we have been just standing back and watching these closures take place. Some companies...
Got a team clutch (tss-04) for an 08 xp summit 800, the clutch is great cooler temps, longer belt life, way better shifting characteristics, feels like more power to the ground, but the clutch seems noisy to me. Any one else have this same issue with the noise, does a Delrin washer help?
