Hi there. My husband and I are coming down this weekend (July 18) and staying at the municipal campground in town. I am hiking Leg 2 of the death Race (Flood Mnt. to Grande Mnt and down the powerline). My hubby wants to quad around with me. Do you know how much of that area is quaddable? We've never been down that way before...
hey I am trying to get a job in Grande, was wondering what it's like living there? I love small towns. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to but you look like your a CX? Wonder if you are and if you enjoy it, thats what I'm trying to get into
Merry Christmas Rob. hoping to get out for a day or two, maybe Hasler but no fresh snow there. been too damn cold for snow to fall, this -20 feels like a chinook.....lol. Have a safe ride my friend....
Hay Rob, You been out yet LOL!!! I have. Not much to get excited about yet. We have 11 of the 15 areas aproved for final draft with the gov. It should be a great year. We are looking at having an avalance course the first week in Dec, I will let you know.
Sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. I didn't even realize I had a private message.
I have posted many of the areas in grande c in the "favorite places - Alberta" thread. Areas like caw ridge, copton, hoff, beaverdam road, sheep creek etc can be found here, there definately is no shortage of places to ride around here.
I would suggest the grande cache hotel or the best western for accomodations.
hey there nutz. i'm on my way to grande cache at the end of the month and was just wondering how the riding is in and around gc? a bud and i planned 2-3 days there, is there enough trail to keep us busy and if so what awesome sight are there to see? hope you are able to help, but also understand that you may be a busy boy. also is the bighorn motel worth stay at?
