Kurt"s polaris gear down kits and other products

Parkland Motorsports is now the Canadian distributor for Kurt's Polaris, we will be stocking all there products they are on the way as I type. Cant wait to try the gear down kits.

Anyone else having issues with installation of the gear down kit? I bought the 2.36 and the first thing i ran into was the bottom pulley was too tight and would not fit on the spline. Took some careful strokes with a dremel on the pulley to get it to fit. Once that was done i found that the pulley hits the bellypan on the bottom and also will not push all the way into the bearing because it hits the ribs on the bulkhead before it gets to that point. Initial look at the kit was that it is very high quality parts but i definitely did not expect to have to do as much grinding as i have to make it fit. Any advice or previous experience would be helpful.

The 2.36 kit comes with the VE guard because the gear is bigger you just need to cut the belly pan where the gear touches and install the guard. The bottem sprocket will come in contact when slid all the way on you just need to shave where it will touch other than that it slides right on. We have only installed 3 kits so far but sold 13 and had no problems with any. Call the shop if you have any trouble with the rest of the install.

Chris, what did you do about the sprocket contacting the ribs on the bulkhead? Just grind them off?
