I was looking at my V-Force reeds And noticed an ever so slight gap between the reed and where it is supose to contact the reed cage. Is this a problem? If so do i have to change the reeds? The reeds have about 200 miles on them. They are not chipped. Thanks.

there should be no gap...but how much are you talking about? photo maybe? like catman says if the gap was a problem your sled would not be running very good.

The gap is very small, i just bought them used and i was looking at them really hard in the sun light and noticed a very slight space on a couple of the reeds.

I have seen this on my bikes and it is from the reads moving with the flow. I used to turn them around and run them again until they went the other way. Then replaced them.
