Happened on my 07 this Saturday also bubbled on the one side and now has a hole in it. Too much heat under the hood I guess. Should have kept cleaning the snow off more often.

Superglides would work well for this and provide traction for the quad as well.

I have 07 as well and they end up around the center of the skid otherwise seemed to interfere with moving parts.

I like your front bumper I have one similar but it does not look as tough as yours.

Very Sad story but definitly makes you want to sit back and think about what could happen if you lose the repsect for mother nature she deserves.

If you are not riding for more than 3 or 4 weeks you should disconnect the battery. Appearently the machine is constantly drawing power and eventually this wrecks the battery. A guy could hook up one the battery tenders on the market definitly a lot cheaper than replacing the battery.

I ride an 07 M8 I use the AC belts but have tried an Ultimax XS never blown one but don't have the power you have. Are your clutches properly aligned.

I agree Scotford I was out that weekend as well only my third trip to the mountains but had the best time of my life so far.

Not to sound stupid but will the 2 inch lugs clear yout heat exchanger?
