There was another thread about this somewhere in the pro climb section I posted a link to the fox website that gives you a decent window to know where to start tinkering from.
Hey really appreciate it, the guys I'm riding wth changed their minds and we're heading to Barrhead this weekend. I'll likely be up to whitecourt in the next week or two as I have some time off. My brother in law is looking to get out too, so i'll be in touch!
With the C3 kit on mine, I took it out the other day, and I didn't find the feed back too bad, definitely having the riser inline made a difference. Definitely takes some time to get used to, reminds me of my buddies Summit.
Also strongly recommend the C3 post forward kit too. I have it on my 16 and really makes for a comfortable riding position. Knee pads are definitely worth the investment though.
If you take a look in the Riding conditions section for NW Alberta there are some updates in there. Few people mentioned they put anywhere from 50-100km's on their sleds in the whitecourt area. They should be getting a bit more snow this week, so you could likely go for a trail ride.
Haven't ridden the 14 chassis with the kit, but I have one of the new 16 Ltd's. In 6 inches of snow I could have it up on one ski with an effortless tug on the bar, no counter steer or anything. Coming from an 09 M1000 it was really tippy in comparison, but very nimble and willing to balance out...
