Yeh right, can’t even have a discussion about different brands of sleds on here without it turning into a pissing match, and that’s about a bunch of toys.
The reason is that officially only vehicles registered as snowmobiles are allowed on those trails and all other motorized vehicles are banned, this is to keep quads etc off the trails. So assuming someone was there to check, and asked you for your registration, it would say you are riding a...
Anyone planning on riding this week? Have never ridden Cataract although I have bought passes several years to support them. Usually in Whistler until after the closure, but bringing the sled back this weekend as Whistler resort closed, and need to pick up parts for my snowbike. Thought I...
Naw, downhill person puts one knee on the seat to lean to the uphill side. We do that all the time when sled skiing. Take some practice and you wouldn’t want to try it in tight trees.
Used to be, whoever owned the method of delivery, was also who purchased and sold you the product, IE natural gas., so most of the charges were just lumped together. Consumer groups and the governments regulations to produce more ‘competition’ forced those companies to separate the delivery...
Not going to reread the whole thread again, but I can’t recall if in all these exploded clutch pictures and references, was there mention if they were totally stock, or had modifications done?
Pemberton Ice Cap. Ride well into the summer. The trick is getting to the snow. Not me, but the guys serious about extending their season start leaving sleds at the snow line, and riding quads/sxs in to haul fuel and get to their machines.
Pemberton Ice cap is a lot of downhill turns, not a tree to be seen, so unless you are hitting cornices, or just out for the views you need to do something besides go straight up and down. Best sled days have been 2-3 ft of new and blue bird way up high, getting face shots on the sled.
Not sure why some people assume that everyone will want a turbo. People still bought the lower specced sleds to save a couple hundred dollars. Plenty of people will look at the price and immediately discount spending that much. S&M members are a very niche part of the market.
And why couldn’t they redesign the clutch and replace them, seems according to your thread a different spacer would stop the clutch from bottoming and get rid of the issue. So recall the sleds, replace the required parts and any damage and away you go. Why would they have to buy back the...
You have copies of those study’s? Willing to pay for to have them done? Otherwise you have conjecture and theories as to why the issues are occurring. With no hard evidence everything you claim is just opinion. Which doesn’t mean that there aren’t issues, but you should have stuck to showing...
