Yes that is the hose!! Thanks. Also I have found a suitable check valve. Turns out our friends on the bombi side have just the fix. The 2 stroke oil tanks on the xps have a check valve that fits the same size hose. It is currently used on the vent hose for the oil tank and vents into the airbox...
Let me just clarify, the tube in referring to is clear and comes from the back of the chain case and loops around and up the post. So chain case oil is the oil I'm talking about, and I guess I answered my own question about why the z1 never lit up, the z1 had a diamond drive and not a chain case.
So I took my new M1100turbo limited down to sicamous for a christmas ride. We went into eagles pass and were having a great day with lots of powder. i was sidehilling across a gully and got bucked off, the sled went on its side and I was a few feet from the sled. My tether cord was attatched to...
Coming to Kamloops for a week, was gonna pack up the Z1-ton (162) and come ride sicamous if anyone wants to go up for a day and check it out????
PM or post reply if interested......
Running almost the same setup as Boosted. 12-14psi on a timbersled skid with float x shocks. Finally had a day yesterday to play around with the adjustments/limiterstraps/and pressures. Lots of adjustments you can make to fine tune it. Got it dialed just after lunch yesterday and IMO that skid...
Ride updates!!!! Rode for 5 days in Valemount and about to ride for another few in Sicamous this week. Heres what Ive gathered so far!
*Plumbing into the rubber reed boots for the B.O.V connection was not such a good idea, even with a threaded brass fitting and thread sealant it blew out...
Thanks! The 3" track was a bit of a pain to get to fit. No one had the new 15x163x3" at the time so I bought a 16x163x3" and had to trim the sides to fit. As for the paddle clearance the VE tunnel offer tons of clearance. I can stick my arm all the way to the front if I put it in from the back...
Yea it runs premix VP111 and amzoil dominator. I ran this kit on the stock chassis last year, it ripped pretty good but my clutching was an issue along with the stock skid along with the powerclaw 162. This year im running twisted clutching on both primary and secondary and it seems to pick up...
Depending on your turbo part number it may not require a BOV. According to Garrett all of their new ball bearing turbos do not require a blow-off valve (theoretically). Also this may stir up a bunch of arguements but Im going to say it anyways. I have personally seen dyno sheets on a few cars...
Finally finished my build. It was a long and very expensive summer spent in the garage. Here is a slide show from start to finish. PM me for questions, also im trying alot of new ideas so if anyone picks up on anything that they think wont really work, any input is good.
Just installed a KOSO 3 in 1 gauge with EGT, water temp, and tach. having trouble finding a tach wire. tried the old tach wire form my previous digatron but no luck. I also tried the stator wires as per the instructions. If anyone has been down this road already I could really use the help. Also...
