Agreed. If you get it out on your own from just riding it. No shovel, no rolling it over etc. not a stuck.
If you need a helping hand or quick ski pull its a stuck.
The thing with Quartz is that you often have to go through intermediate terrain to get to the easy terrain.
And some spots that look easy are way off camber and will suck you into the trees.
From cabin if you go right up the well pounded or groomed hill it brings you into big open area. Stay...
Thinking of maybe hitting Cataract tomorrow. Would be just a casual ride with gf. She has only been out once before.
Is there enough snow on the trails still and are they in decent shape or all whoops.
Thanks

That's exactly what I was thinking. Pretty sure the person that mentioned there was no snow was trying to compare it to Golden or something. And if that was the case, I've seen Quartz look like a groomed ski hill. lol
Was thinking of heading to Cataract tomorrow but heard from someone that was there today (second hand) that there is no snow and it sucked. I can't see that really from the snow that the city has gotten and that Eden Valley got.
Can anyone confirm?
I'm thinking one persons idea of crappy...
Thinking possibly the 8th but can't confirm right now. I don't want to go unless they get fresh snow this week. All areas out there need snow.
Where you thinking?

Last time I was out there these areas you speak of were pretty tracked out.
Prob not allowed but I don't see the issue. I never will when it comes to this stuff. In the summer in fluz areas I get the staying on trail part with water, swamp, muskeg etc but in the winter especially snow machine...
