RIP Travis. Condolences to family and friends.
A tragic reminder of just how precious life is.
It was about three years ago this week my eldest son was found late at night up on Boulder, but alive and well. Today I am once again reminded to be very appreciative for SAR and our sledding...
Sorry... Should add to this...after dumping premix, top up tank with premium. So on a 43.5 litre fuel tank, that's an 87:1 ratio.
Even at that, avoid extended idle times and try to get the engine to full operating temp 125-130F and above engagement rpms. Track stand is handy for sure.

I recommend only running 500ml in the first tank to all my customers. Also never dump the oil directly into fuel tank. Premix in jerry can then add to tank.
Our experience on the flat land 800 HO sleds last year is that break in is well over 100 miles. Look for nice performance gains with...

I've got truck and enclosed trailer. Can handle up to a group of three of riders. Only riders with some mountain experience and proper gear please.
Let's ride!!

Not sure the whole story quite yet but I do know that my son was trying to ride his buddy's sled out of a bad situation but as he dropped further into the gully the worse the situation got. His buddy couldn't find him. He was on his own and after been stuck for five or six times he was...
Very easy to get done. Small pry bar to close primary clutch, 8mm wrench, and allen wrench to remove pin. Loosen pins with wrenches. Remove belt. Open clutch with pry bar, wedge bar against lower part of belly pan to keep clutch open. Pull pin, remove weight, drop in new weight, replace...
Re: Drive shaft Service Bulletin S-12-05!!
As per the Service Notice from last week, there is an issue with the MY12 driveshaft not being compatible...and, why would they have thousands of these driveshafts laying around?
Polaris delivered a solution for everyone. I'm going to enjoy my MY13...
Re: Drive shaft Service Bulletin S-12-05!!
And if this solution works, then what is the problem with going the route of the collar? Polaris is addressing the issue in the best way they can at this time. Does anyone seriously believe that Polaris could develop an entirely new driveshaft...
Polaris is known to stand behind their products. They will come through for us PRO RMK customers.
It takes time to define the problem and develop an appropriate solution.

Unfortunate that happened. How many miles on the sleds now Diggerz? When was the last time that the shocks were inspected?
I guess my point is that perhaps checking the shocks should be a good routine maintenance item for everyone on any sled of any make.
"An ounce of prevention is worth a...
WTF is it with all the anti-Polaris posts on this thread! Where are the MODS?? If I want to read comments by posters that are partial to other brands of sleds, I would go to that forum.
MODS...please do your jobs!
