So I took it for a ride this evening and didn't get a check engine light, and everything worked good idled fine all lights working hand warmers etc. However it had a top end bog a few times at full throttle. I could not replicate it though it was random. I leaned it hard on the left side wide...
Everything else is working fine, headlight is bright, it runs smooth and idles good, cluster lights are all working. It just doesnt have any symptoms other than the check engine light and little battery symbol, and they are not on all the time it's random
Battery is out now I'm going to go for a rip when I get home and see if the light comes on or not. I haven't been able to make the light come on it just comes on randomly
I don't actually have a battery charger lol, what would that test be checking, cuz I don't have any other symptoms except for the check engine light and battery light flashing? And it isn't on all the time only once it's warmed up but then it goes out, it only comes on randomly?
I know the battery is shot, it doesn't hold a charge, all I'm really asking is could the dead battery be tripping the check engine light, with the little battery icon flashing. If yes then I will buy a new battery if no then I won't and I'll move onto voltage regulator or other common causes...
So it could be the dead the dead battery tripping the check engine light? I know the battery is only there for the starter I personally wouldn't have put it on but it was my old mans and he wanted it lol
Hi all I've looked and looked for an exact answer to my question and situations but haven't been able to find it, I in apologize in advance if this has been talked about before.
i have 2013 pro rmk with electric start.., since I bought it the battery has been dead and would not even click to...
I had the front of the sled raised higher than the tunnel throughout the entire rebuild, I warmed it up to 120 and let it cool twice and no leaks. I'm bringing it home later this week and going for a rip on my property to make sure she runs tip top then we head to the mountains for a real break...
So it's all back together but ran out of time to start it up lol. Just wondering what you all recommend for break premix? 32 oz for one tank or half of that?
Thanks for the advice I will do as suggested.
Another thing I noticed was that the new wiseco pistons have much thinner sleeves than the oem is that usually the case?
