If there's a group planning this out again for the fall 2 of us would love to join. I've only ridden the parts of rail line to just before jackfish and I hear it's much better after passing the private land. Any real bad hills? (The big ravine in horburg is no problem for me)
I was finally to the lamoral/caboose site last weekend and realised how many times we had driven past the turn off. The huge ravine is getting bad and the bridge is still out but its passable so far this spring, although we've ridden through there the last few years without too much problem...
I went for a casual drive today and stopped in at both horburg and saunders along the way out west. Still quite a bit of new snow even in the horburg area. We did a ride on easter weekend at jackfish lake as well and the trails were ride-able but still lots of snow on anything not getting sun...
Okay, I'm hoping someone can help with my dillema. My hubby has an 07 outlander 500xt that we have been searching for a decently priced motor for. So far, I have not come across one used 500 motor at all. I found a 650 motor in edmonton, minus the computer. Does anyone know if the dealer can...

Anyone heading out near rocky this weekend for a ride? I'm thinking about going friday or saturday if there is anyone else heading out that direction that would like to meet up.
Anyone know if I need a special tool to pull off the clutch on my 450 Wolverine? (I believe the 450 kodiak shares the same ultramatic transmission) I bought it used off a guy that didn't seem to know a thing about it and I'm sure it could use a belt inspection and a good cleaning of the clutches.
The first time I had my banshee out close to the open creek dam...There is a large ridge you have to cross to get into the trails, and the water runs down the trail and carves out really deep ruts in the hills. I had crested the hill and started descending down the other side. I was picking up...
Personally, I would go with a 2 battery setup. Although you are not drawing too much power using the CD amp to drive the speakers instead of an amplifier, you have to remember you are using a small quad battery, not a car battery.
