A little off topic but my group has been riding Valmount past 4years in March this year figured we would head to Mcbride my question is how is access to parking lots for trailers or sled deck do u need chains for any of the parking access points ? Looking more for renshaw and bell not much for...

My prayers go out to the family's nobody goes out in the morning thinking this could happen to them we put in place all the safety gear and training but when you are out in the backcountry there is no big neon sign saying stay away from this hill because it is a high risk of slide it is up to us...

Top was slushy if it gets no snow and cools down it will be concrete. Pouring rain in town if it's raining on chappells trail it will not stand up at least 2 km of gravel and a lot more patches on the way up .

Thx for the info we were up there today and like u said snow is unreal headlight deep all tracks we filled in 0 vis today but when we could see we played hard snowing when we left at 6pm

Still lots of untouched powder had a great day the old trail is icy around a couple switch backs might have a little trouble this am getting around the one but we are probly heading to Chappell today hoping that it has had little use so trail might be in better shape it a long trip in hope it's...
