This is a really good idea, too many relying on battery powered devices as their go to backup and have little to no other knowledge otherwise.
If you need help with this, let me know i'm all in favor of this and should be a must along with AST1.
Hey bro. hows the arm doing?
Flying out of Ottawa on transport to Comox and will in BC for a week. I would like to get out on that sled, let me know your plan. K
Working good but I think I need you to look at the clutches. Was out in Bralorne and Gold Bridge a week ago and ate up 2 belts. Its pulling real hard though.
Mike your being a panzie, just yanking your chain bud.
If your standing there and a guy needs a ski tug and you make such a comment and walk away leaving a fella sledder to figure it out. That plainly makes you a D-bag.
what goes around in time comes around.
There is nothing wrong with today's electronic's to help in finding your way out 95% of the time, its that 5% when weather doesn't co-operate or batteries fail.
As part of our training you needed to complete a week in the wilderness with a map, compass and very basic gear and ration's on your...
After glancing through a few of these entries about making out door adventures more safe i found it interesting how some people quickly shut their door's and dismiss free given advice by highly trained experts in the field.
I guess in today's world of internet opinion's having "experience" comes...
Are you talking about the time you caught up to a couple of guy's on Frisby and gave them your piece about riding in a closed area...LOL, i think those guy's were so stoned to cared about closures.
A camera would had been a good idea to have.
Exactly, that was my point earlier on, i ride with Lund 90% of the time when i get out. Unless his wife goes, i can't keep up to him. So i spend on a turbo set up and still a challenge to keep up to a stock Sidewinder. They are an amazing sled, just a little heavy for me and my skill level. I'm...
I don't know about that, i got about $7000 extra invested into my 18 Cat just to be able to keep up to the Sidewinders. Boondocker Sidekicks work great but don't come cheap.
And it still won't pull like the Sidewinder 4s will.
Critiques, what is the world with out those arsehol.
I guess not everyone is as smart as you guys. Not even Yamaha.
Last season at Yamafest Lund recieved a VIP invite from Yamaha, yes an invite and while on the hill some of the Yamaha higher up's took serious interest in Lund's Sidewinder, they...
I have a Boondocker sidekick in my 18 M8 Cat, its a riot to ride a good swift kick in the butt compared to what it was stock. Lund installed it and set it up for me last spring, got a few rides with it and i'm very happy.
The only problem i have is it still won't beat that Yamaha Lund rides, LOL
